The ultimate test of speed and endurance

Glemmduro is a mashup of enduro and gravel race with timed race sections - race results will be based on the cumulative time across the sections. The race is open to MTB and gravel riders and there will be prizes up for grabs for different rider categories including e-bikes. There will be three route options ranging from easy to advanced with junctions where you can decide to finish or keep going onto the next level.

Glemmduro race entry is included in all full Festival weekend tickets (if you already have a ticket you can take part in the Glemmduro race). There is also the option to buy our Saturday ticket which includes race entry to Glemmduro. To book your ticket and race entry please slect the weekend or day option below:

THE ROUTE

The Glemmduro route is fully contained in the stunning Saalbach-Hinterglemm valley. The full route will take riders up to the top of the valley to the treetop walkway at Lindlingalm before looping back via some challenging and breathtaking climbs along the north side of the valley, down to Viehofen and back up the gravel river trail to the finish in Saalbach. The course is fully off road utilising the gravel service roads, trails and specially designed valley trail that runs alongside the river and main road.

Glemmduro Route - Gravel / XC Race

RACE FORMAT

Glemmduro is a test of endurance, strength and speed. Riders will need to combine endurance to complete the distance of the course with speed and strength to race the timed sections. 


There will be a total of three race sections on the full route. Each of the race sections will feature a start and finish point which will be timed - the overall result will be based on combined time from all the race sections. Riders can ride between the race sections at their own pace and recover and refuel at the end of each race section.

RACE SECTION 1: 
1.7 km - climb

RACE SECTION 2: 
4.7 km - climb

RACE SECTION 3: 
3.9 km - rolling terrain

RACE CATEGORIES

Awards will be presented to the winners of the following categories for each ride distance.

An E-MTB award for fastest male and female rider will be available on the hard route only.

Prize presentation will take place in the Festival Village in the evening followed by the Festival finish party and live music!
