ROAD RIDING

Join GCN to explore the stunning Austrian Alps around Saalbach-Hinterglemm.

All road rides will be organised as guided groups with groups for different abilities each day - ride routes and programme coming soon...

Road Cycling

Saalbach-Hinterglemm and the valleys surrounding the Zell-am-See region offer some real hidden gems for road riders. A superb network of purpose built bike paths provide a closed road experience to explore the forests, lakes and rivers through the valleys. For more of a challenge riders can tackle epic climbs including Pillersee Loop or the world famous Grossglockner – the highest paved road in Austria.

Our routes will give you the chance to explore the hidden beauty of the Austrian Alps providing fun and challenging courses to suit all abilities. Gravel routes coming soon.

CHOOSE YOUR BIKE: A gravel bike is the go-to bike for the gravel rides. However there are no limitations. A ‘cross bike, mountain bike or a road bike with gravel-proof 32mm+ tires (with tread!) will also do the job. Not got a gravel bike? No problem: we’ll have a fleet of gravel bikes available that you can hire.
